It is a collection of concepts and technologies that form a digital money ecosystem. • First proposed by “Satoshi Nakamoto” • No central authority (Federal Reserve) or banks to manage transactions • Decentralized, P2P system. Means Bitcoin is a fully distributed ,peer to peer system. As such there is no central server. Bitcoins are created through a process called mining.
